After the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes, a small but significant Huguenot community settled in Greenwich around the Marquis de Ruvigny. Many lived in Crooms Hill and worshipped at St Alfege Church – a few tombstones still remain. The guide will tell you about their houses, their exploits (some not legal) and the characters that once lived in this amazing town, full of history. Our tour will end outside the Fan Museum.
