Huguenots were Protestants who fled from France in the 17th and 18th century and were what today we would call asylum seekers, persecuted for their religion. Many people have a family story of descent from them, or from the earlier waves of Dutch and French religious refugees. How can you find out if the story is true? Staff from the London Metropolitan Archives will be on hand to introduce you to their Library.
